Dr. Mary June founded Target Usmle to help train healthcare professionals to be at their best for the USMLE exam. She graduated in Medicine (MBBS) from Madras Medical College and Research Institute Chennai, India and pursued Senior Residency at JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of PostGraduate Medical Education and Research), Pondicherry, India. After several years of training in Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology in India she pursued her interests in basic research in the field of Molecular Endocrinology abroad.

         Dr. June graduated with a 2nd doctoral degree (PhD) under the guidance of her mentor Dr. Gwen Childs (Chair Neurobiology and Development Sciences and a world renowned pituitary cytologist ) in the United States and graduated with a 4.0 GPA at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She has the experience of teaching medical freshmen at UAMS for several years and was highly sort after by students for her unique way of integrating basic sciences and clinical practice. She was also involved in the USMLE preparatory course. Dr. June continued further post doctoral training at the Carver College of Medicine, University of Iowa, Iowa at Division of Endocrinology in the laboratory of Dr. Joseph Dillon which first characterized the receptor for DHEA.

          Dr. June has won several international awards and published in international journals in the field of Endocrinology. She is a Journal reviewer for J of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry and has published many peer reviewed articles in Endocrinology, Molecular and Cellular Endocrinology and J of Histochemistry Cytochemistry.. She was the first runner-up for the International Endocrine Scholars award given to Top Seven post doctoral scientists world wide for their contribution to the field of endocrinology. She is a co author for the First Aid for the USMLE Step2 Clinical Skills 2009 edition (as Dr. Mary Iruthayanathan). She is listed in the registry of America´s Outstanding Professionals 2007 and selected by the US government as an individual of extraordinary ability. With both medical and research experience of over 15 years in India and the United States, Dr. June is dedicated to helping students, to take the USMLE "at their very best". Rest of our faculty are Associate Professors/Professors from reputed medical colleges in India who have several years of experience training medical students.
